SciFinder Scholar Data Base File Download Log-in Page

Please read instructions below before you log-in

 

ENTER PAGE ID :

ENTER PASSWORD :

Input Page ID and Password, file download will start automatically
Note: ID and PASSWORD is case sensitive

After log-in; file download should start automatically, if download
does not start automatically you need to make the following changes to
your browse.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Please read instructions below before you log-in to Install SciFinder Scholar:

1. Download SFS2004-2.exe and the site.prf file.
2. Exit all programs
3. Close your browser
4. Run the SFS2004-2.exe
5. Respond to the prompts of the installation wizard.

Note: 
During installation, you are asked if you have a disk labeled “Custom        
Site Files.” click No. The (site.prf) file should be placed in the “SciFinder        
PROGRAM FOLDER” after installtion of the software; which will be located 
on your hard drive @ C:\SFSCHLR. Software will not run witnout this file.

 

BROWSER CHANGES
1.	On the menu bar of Internet Explorer; go to 
   	Tools – Internet Options…

 
2.	Select the Security tab and then the Trusted sites
	icon in the window. Next click the Sites… 
	button on the right below the window. 

 



3. 	Next type in the following web address (http:/www.lib.subr.edu)
   	in the window right below “Add this Web site to the zone:, 
	next click the Add button to add the address. Make sure the box 
	next to “Require server verification (https:)for all sites 
	in this zone” is not checked. If the box is checked deselect 
	it. Next click “OK” to close all windows and go back to the 
	log-in page and log-in.
