What is
a Class Librarian?
A trained, professional librarian and researcher assigned
specifically to an incoming freshman class. The class librarian
will work with one particular class of incoming freshmen beginning
with the fall semester and continue working with the class
through graduation and beyond.

How Can a Class Librarian Assist You? |
The class librarian will help you to navigate
the resources and services available at the John B. Cade Library
for your class assignments, research papers, cultural, or
recreational needs. Other roles of the class librarian are as follows:

- Guide you through your research--from finding a book on the
shelf to using electronic resources from your dorm room or
at home
- Answer questions or concerns about any library service or
connect you with the appropriate person that can help you
- Serve as a point of contact for information about activities
in the library
