The Office of the Dean of Libraries is located on the 2nd floor of the Library. This office is responsible for the overall management and administration of the John B. Cade Library and one branch, the Architecture Library. The library’s relationship to the institutional mission is guided and reflected in its commitment to serving students, faculty, staff, administrators and the community in their learning, teaching, research and recreational needs.
The Administrative staff, in the Office of the Dean is always available to help answer any questions and/or refer the person to the appropriate department.
The Office of the Dean has an open-door policy, meaning appointments are not needed to see the Dean on any matters related to the library. The library faculty and staff make a concerted effort to provide accurate, efficient and courteous service at all times and expect each user to have a positive experience when using the Library.
