Southern University to host Jaguar Preview Day on Saturday, Nov. 7

Southern University and A&M College will welcome about 3,500 prospective students and their families to campus Saturday, Nov. 7, for its annual Jaguar Preview Day, an opportunity to explore the university's academic offerings, connect with members of the campus community and experience the excitement of Jaguar football.

 

The event will begin at 8 a.m. inside the F.G. Clark Activity Center. Hosted by the Office of Admissions and Recruitment, Jaguar Preview will give prospective students an inside look at life at Southern, including opportunities to meet current students, faculty, staff and university administrators.

 

Participants will also have the opportunity to explore the university's academic programs and take part in the Jaguar Prowl, Southern's official campus tour. The day's activities will conclude with an opportunity to cheer on the Jaguars as they take on Bethune-Cookman inside A.W. Mumford Stadium.

 

Registration is $30 per person and includes admission to the scheduled program and entertainment, lunch, Jaguar merchandise and a ticket to the football game as the Southern Jaguars will take on the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats at 2 p.m. inside of A.W. Mumford Stadium. A parking pass must be purchased to park on campus, which can be found here.
