Stakeholder Engagement Listening Sessions for SU System President Search

The Southern University Presidential Search Committee invites members of the university community to participate in stakeholder engagement sessions designed to gather input on the leadership profile and priorities for the next President of the Southern University System.

Each session will last approximately 1 hour. All times listed are Central Time.

Systemwide VIRTUAL Stakeholder Sessions

Thursday, March 19 (Participants from all campuses may join. Virtual access credentials will be provided.)

Time - Stakeholder Group

10:00 – 11:00 AM - All Administration/Staff

Noon – 1:00 PM - All Students

2:00 – 3:00 PM - All Faculty

6:00 – 8:00 PM - All Alumni

Purpose of the Sessions

The sessions will allow members of the Southern University community to share their perspectives on:

  • Desired qualities and leadership attributes of the next System President
  • Opportunities and challenges facing the Southern University System
  • Priorities for strengthening the institution’s academic, research, and community impact

Input gathered during these sessions will assist in developing the leadership profile and identifying the strongest candidates for consideration.
