Southern University Music Students Perform at SCRTEC Regional Music Conference

The Southern University Tuba and Euphonium Ensemble and Dr. Chasse Duplantis were invited to perform at the South Central Regional Tuba and Euphonium Conference (SCRTEC) at the University of Memphis. This SCRTEC conference is a biennial conference hosted by the International Tuba and Euphonium Association (ITEA). This was a historic accomplishment for the Southern University Tuba and Euphonium Ensemble as this marked the first time this ensemble performed at an ITEA Conference. Southern University was one of seven universities represented as a performing ensemble at this conference along with Louisiana State University, the University of Alabama, Stephen F. Austin State University, the University of Southern Mississippi, the University of Memphis, and the University of Central Arkansas.
