Spring 2027 Housing Applications

Interested in on-campus housing for Spring 2027?

The Spring 2027 Housing Waitlist Application will open on Monday, November 2, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. and will close on Friday, November 6, 2026.

Students must meet the eligibility requirements, including a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 and enrollment in at least 12 credit hours for Spring 2027.

Please note that submitting a waitlist application does not guarantee a housing assignment. Students currently living on campus do not need to complete the waitlist application. Students requesting a room change or room swap should contact their Hall Director.

Save the Date: Fall 2027 Housing Applications

Planning to live on campus for Fall 2027? Mark your calendar for the upcoming housing application dates!

  • February 1, 2027: Returning Residents

  • February 15, 2027: First-Time Residents and Transfer Students

Students must be admitted to Southern University before applying for housing. Applicants must use their official Southern University email account and password to access and complete the housing application.

Summer 2027 Housing Applications

Summer plans? We've got you covered!

The Summer 2027 Housing Application will open on March 1, 2027. Additional information regarding summer housing availability, eligibility, and application instructions will be provided as the opening date approaches.

  • Housing assignments are subject to availability.

  • Submitting an application does not guarantee a housing assignment.

  • Students seeking a room change or room swap must contact their Hall Director.

  • Students should use their official Southern University credentials to access housing applications.
